Ladies Sing Jazz

Thursday evening 21st October. Bar open from 7pm, show commences at 8pm.

A trio of jazz singers who have honed their skills on the South Wales jazz scene at intimate jazz cafes, big band concerts and jazz festivals, Helen Rita Jones, Alexa Deane and Jenny Jones’ fantastic voices have sweetness and power perfectly combined. The show celebrates legendary jazz singers Ella Fitzgerald, Blossom Dearie, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee and more. You may even get up and dance to a soul RnB tune. The ladies bring with them a marvelous jazz trio consisting of Richard Jones (guitar) Derek Howells (double bass) and Keith Niblett (drums and percussion).
